Marilyn Revised is an exhibition I am curating for Nammagorium, a new Artspace in Copenhagen. This is their opening show.
The show will open on the 3th of August 2012, the same day Marilyn Monroe was on the cover of Life Magazine 50 years ago, on sunday the 5th 1962 she was dead. The show will analyse and celebrate the huge impact Marilyn Monroe has and have on our culture.
I feel very fortunate that some of my hero/ines has accepted to be part of the show, which will include: Mary Beth Edelson (US 1933), Laura Eriksen (DK 1965), Margaret Harrison (UK 1940), Elke Krystufek (AT 1970), Tomas Lagermand Lundme (DK1973) Claudia Reinhardt (DE 1964), Sands Murray-Wassink (US 1974) and myself.
Exhibition period: 3/8-2/11 – 2012.
